I met more than 10 God of Prosperity included at a wedding dinner. We shall build a "God of Prosperity's Grotto" for him so that he can plays the same role as Santa Claus. My sincere advice to this celebrity is to hire a more professional PR officials. His assistant who wore yellow shirt stand behind of us is non-expressive. I can't help myself except keep laughing on this toasting session. Our dear friend,Mr.Western Red aka Prosperity stand aside Eastern 5 layers White Wedding Cake. I wish he is the one who cut the cake then Yum Seng!!!
I have to confess I'm shopaholic. I so excited and swipe my credit card without any hesitation. Some of my friends ever despise me and warn me shouldn't shop that much. After self-audit my shopping awards and finance balance, I can't believe I have bought half dozen tins of Julie's Love Letters Chocolate Cream Egg Rolls !!! Fortunately, these egg rolls expired date is on Dec,2010. Hence, pls do not ask me why I still single esp during CNY celebration coz I got enough Love Letters.
For 2010, I rewarding myself with a teapot set cum warmer. This littler warmer cost is consider cheap and the candle also affordable. After tire work, this little teapot set will accompany me through whole night. Sam, I knew u like this little thingy, I will reserve another one set for your coming birthday as B'day gift if u read this article and leave comment.
We have so many God of Prosperity in different shopping mall. I met 3 of them in One-Utama Mall itself. I manage to catch one of them and take photo. It must be damn hot in this costume.
I have no idea what makes One-Utama Management decides to decorate 2010 CNY theme with Maneki Neko??? No doubt we are living in glabalization era, my curiosities are :
2010 is the year of TIGER according to Chinese calender, is this mean Cat can symbolize tiger as both of them are same species?
Are we celebrating Chinese New Year or Japanese New Year?
Why only have Cat mama, daughter and son? Where is Cat papa? Chinese very highlighted reunion spirit while celebrating CNY, it feels incomplete unless this is single parent (divorced) family?
All these just my personal thoughts on these giant kitten, hope that One-U admin won't get mad with me.
Endless so called housewarming at my tiny flat. The menu is standardize except for different buddies. The response is not too bad but most of these food critics spontaneously start to investigate cooking recipes after first bite. Honestly, it's annoying esp i wish everyone can enjoy the meals without interrogating me after long n tire preparations. Anyhow, for those who tasted my meals, pls be patient n wait... ain't gonna cook for u in a short time. Broccoli Man at the peak of the Mount Beef Recipe: All veg chill with cool water after boiled to preserve the crunchiness. Mount beef marinated with fresh sweet thyme, mustard seeds and olive oil.Salad is nothing special la: self-baked bread crumbs,raisins, Balsamic source, Italians salad source and fresh sliced lemon. ( opps...forgot to buy tomatoes and olive)
Pumpkin soup: Plenty friends dislike this yellowish thingy. I prepared this soup with pumpkin (of course lah...), bacon ribs, onion, Knoss's chick stock, topping with whipped cream and serve with seafood -garlic -baguette. Seafood garlic source bought from grocerry shop, costs ~rm7 and Perancis roti less than rm2 from hypermarket. A superb buddy asked me how to bake baguette!!! Do I looks like guru in baking bread? I hope so ;p
Green Octopus Pirate sailing on Salmon boat Again my dear friends, pls do not ask our tire chef bout fish since he not keen to eat seafood at all. I simply marinated the salmon with some soy sources, butterfly flour and bit olive oil. Some food critic said should add more herbs and spice; some said should grill it till slightly "burned";some said shouldn't marinate and keep it raw; some said shouldn't overcook. On dear, what suppose I have to do?

Our Ms Santa Claus,KY has returned to Malaysia and visit us. She brought a lot of goodies to me. Even though I damn tire recently but still manage to meet up with her and other buddies. After church service, we went to One Utama Shopping Mall. Since I didn't drive and nobody is willing to send me home,I have to go to this extreme congested area. This mall has invited mini orchestra band to perform on the stage. The singer is so so but I like the stage decor. We went to Hong Kong dessert shop which provides more than 100 drinks and desserts. Most of the items are similar and almost same. I wonder why this shop owner want to trouble the employer to serve such complicated menu. An old buddy,Ray who was lived together in Liverpool come to Malaysia in a very short notice from Hong Kong. Again, I almost fainted cause lack of rest and sleep, I need to go to his hotel to fetch him for dinner. He is nice lad and always concern other needs. His Mandarin level is remain "kui bu Kui" instead of "hui bu hui". Really happy to meet him again and talk bout old UK days.
I received an instruction from my superior 2days before this trip without any preparation such as flight ticket booking, hotel booking and itinerary. When I show all my travel documents and itinerary to my boss, his reaction is really pissed off. He said: ai yo…u takes the 6:15am flight ah… damn early leh… poor u. In fact he is the one who ask me to book the earliest flight. I rather he keeps his mouth shut and sign and approve all the necessary documents. Since I have meeting on 9am in Singapore, I took the earliest flight! I wake up at 3am!!
After end of long hour meeting while I having nap in hotel, my boss gave me a call (double charge call!!!). If possible, I hope he can be patient and wait for my report on next Monday. Over-actions might become hypocrisy, my dear boss.
Thanks God, I manage to meet my dear bro Kok Hong. After his late working shift, he manages to come to my accommodated place to meet me. His fetch me by his cool motorcycle to China Town for famous porridge. After order, his discover he bought a large portion of sashimi. For those who knowing me well, u should know I’m not fish a.k.a seafood-eater. Some more he just recovered from diarrhea. At the end we are able to finish all the meals. Afterwards, two black shirt guys (me n Kok Hong) stand in the middle of famous Orchard Rd. for photo sessions in 1a.m. Plenty taxi drivers who parked aside look at us but nobody offer to help us to take photo. I wish my company will send me to SNG more often so that can meet Kok Hong and jalan-jalan, makan angin by his motor bike in the late night!
On 17th morning, I’m heading for breakfast in accommodated hotel. The waiter told me my room booking package does not include breakfast. What the hell! What wrong with the HR guy? I assume she does not outstation before or help other to make hotel booking for business trip.
I can't believe I will end up like Ah Pek, my sis n kok hong also question my appearance result of my laziness. Damn embarrass, I must bring sandal on coming trip.
In a nutshell, this meeting is ironic, hilarious, entertaining and full of conspiracy due to my working scope. I appreciate my superior request me to attend this oversea meeting.
