2009.01.12_Homebake_ChiffonCake

My homebake-cake-addicted mate decides to try Chiffon Cake. It’s not difficult except it was deflated and collapsed. My main job task in this project is to peel the orange skin. Beware; we must peel it as thin as we can to avoid bitterness from inner white orange skin.

Frankly, its texture tastes like Chinese traditional cake: 白糖糕 (Bak Tong Go).

We still have a lot of improving baking skill space.This whole baking process remind me a friend, Jill’s marvelous Chiffon Cake topped with thin layer cream and calourful fruit dressing.

2009.01.08 RE-Blogging

After think twice, I decided resume my blog to share with whoever is reading now. A lot of joy and tears happened in 2008, me kind of stuck in the bottleneck. I believe God will help all of us overcome global financial crisis. Personaly, I'm praying hard to God so that I can be strong enough to step forward in spiritual life.

2009.01.06_ShinChek_BDay

Instead of celebrate ShinChek B’day, another B’day gal is just simply hiding in Kemaman. We went to a Chinese-orientated-tea-house which recommended by a Malaysia famous Chinese food TV show. For those who are staying at Genting Kelang area should aware of this shop. The food is look so un-presentable without any dressing. The food colour is same as the product produced by diarrhea patient. However; according to the ‘foodeater’, it is delicious.
OMG…OMG…OMG…
Feel sympathy to B’day gal, the moment we finish B’day song singing ceremony to this cheerful B'day gal. She been left alone to cut the lonely BIRTHDAY CAKE bought from Baker’s Cottage.
Once again, wish the twins happy always and less fighting among themselves but continue spiritual growing together.

2009.01.01_NY_Supper

Fortune is fickle

To celebrate the first day of 2009, we have lovely meal prepared by this acrobatics chef. My supper is classic Malaysia food, eat whenever you wish: NasiLemakAyam(Coconut_Milk_Rice_chicken). The pity thing is the food provider do not supply any vegetables even a slice of cucumber.

Then the sky start weeping, sobbing, crying, we alert the signal, clear our bill immediately and walk back to our flat. Ms.Sky is more n more emotional, she starts moaning, wailing, screeching, howling…

We become victims…

2008.12.31_NY_Eve

I was invited to have NY eve dinner at Yue Wang’s place. The food is delicious: minced tofu, prawn roll wrapped by cabbage, fried potatoes with soy sauce, bitter guard fired eggs, fried butter chicken (takeaway), sweet sour chicken (takeaway) and Chinese dumpling “水饺”. The dumpling is nice with lot of veg:chinese chives “韭菜”. Our special mocktail which is mix by Uncle Tung: one can lycee, two cans longan and one beg ice from 7-11 shop. The whole night is relaxing in scrabbling. For those who can’t enjoy scrabble game, they escape back to their own world after insert their stomach.
