2009.07.18_Cycling at Putrajaya_BotanicalGarden

After lunch , we have meet up and departed in a lovely Kenari car. Kenari was well-decorated. Her front mirror areas was added with dark grayish furs, a very interesting design. To imitate early bird get better worm practice, we are arrived Putrajaya, Taman Botani ( Botanical Garden) at 3PM. In fact, we do have a better Malay word to illustrate this garden: Taman Tumbuhan. I try to but cannot understand why Malaysians like to transform all foreign words into Malay language. Perhaps Malaysians are Transformers, we want to transform everything: from white to black, from murder to sinless release, from the truth to lie, from XX become YY, from YY become ZZ, endless transformations...The sun is very SHINING and HOT, I can feel the heat n it's burning my skin. The whole cycling journey was not as easy as we thought, we need to cycle up the mountain slope. According to Taman Botani's brochure which is written in Malay ( for non-Malay reader, pls explore yourself), it has more than 700 species plants from over 90 countries. Unfortunately, I'm not the one keen keen to recognize each plant's scientific name while cycling. BJ, you should come and guide us bout all these species. I do enjoy this scenic greenery view.

Believe me, I do feel the FRESH AIR in this garden esp. in haze attack days. In contrast, I always smell burning fume in my living place, in my working place, in whole klang Valley even in Melaka. We need more rain to cast the haze away... we do need more green-belts in KL city. Some cyclists who are my new badminton buddies do apologize to me that we shouldn't come too early and Taman Botani is boring. It has nothing except trees, leaf, flower and unknown plants. In fact, I'm very enjoy the whole cycling trip. I really appreciate this kind and generous new fellows invitations.

This garden location is very strategic, it located beside artificial lake. Initially, it did provide Kayak service. Due to ineffective administrative operation, plenty activities were closed. Food corner closed, building closed, ice-cream shop closed... everything is close except a luxury seafood restaurant well-maintain and survive on the lake-shore. It's under " Tai Tong 大同" group, I hope that I can come and have meals in this restaurant at night ONE DAY.

Above mocktail was prepared by my little cousin, Ee Han. It taste nice and the most important thing is: it's presentable!!! She is only 11 years old,k....

Clearly understand UK cycling weather even though cycling along Albert Dock is magnificent experiences.
We can go together when u come back and have Tai Tong seafood afterward with pound sterling, then it shall be very cheap.
