2009.07.27_HairCuttingCharity

It's my honour to join this "MOST HAIRCUTS IN A DAY" Hair Cutting

Charity event. The organizers' target 888 participants. I'm the

no.
952!!! This record will be saved and recorded in The Malaysia Book

of Records. Happy that Malaysians are enjoying and contributing in

charity event. Malaysia Boleh !!! The whole registration, long queue,

photo before n after cut session, goodies picking n haircut process is less

than one hour. A Malay female hair stylist who is the lucky one to cut my

hair is tiresome and keep asking her supervisor when is this event shall be

closed. I tried to chat with her and encourage her but she is frustrating

as non-stop hair cuttings going on. she only occupied 15 minutes on my

head. I assume she been forced to involve in this event. Poor her, I pray

God to grant her "something" for her efforts on this charity event. A

friend of mine who accompanied us to this event's venue refuse to sign up.

She is too shy to cut her hair in public. I quite upset with her sudden

rejection, she is the one who keen to join initially :'''''( Overall, I'm satisfy

with this haircut, in fact I'm not dare to ask the hair stylist to "modify" it.

Middle-aged symptom : BALD HAIR. However; recently, I'm glad to accept

a white lie compliment: a new friend guess I'm 23 years old.

2009.07.18_Cycling at Putrajaya_BotanicalGarden

After lunch , we have meet up and departed in a lovely Kenari car. Kenari was well-decorated. Her front mirror areas was added with dark grayish furs, a very interesting design. To imitate early bird get better worm practice, we are arrived Putrajaya, Taman Botani ( Botanical Garden) at 3PM. In fact, we do have a better Malay word to illustrate this garden: Taman Tumbuhan. I try to but cannot understand why Malaysians like to transform all foreign words into Malay language. Perhaps Malaysians are Transformers, we want to transform everything: from white to black, from murder to sinless release, from the truth to lie, from XX become YY, from YY become ZZ, endless transformations...The sun is very SHINING and HOT, I can feel the heat n it's burning my skin. The whole cycling journey was not as easy as we thought, we need to cycle up the mountain slope. According to Taman Botani's brochure which is written in Malay ( for non-Malay reader, pls explore yourself), it has more than 700 species plants from over 90 countries. Unfortunately, I'm not the one keen keen to recognize each plant's scientific name while cycling. BJ, you should come and guide us bout all these species. I do enjoy this scenic greenery view.

Believe me, I do feel the FRESH AIR in this garden esp. in haze attack days. In contrast, I always smell burning fume in my living place, in my working place, in whole klang Valley even in Melaka. We need more rain to cast the haze away... we do need more green-belts in KL city. Some cyclists who are my new badminton buddies do apologize to me that we shouldn't come too early and Taman Botani is boring. It has nothing except trees, leaf, flower and unknown plants. In fact, I'm very enjoy the whole cycling trip. I really appreciate this kind and generous new fellows invitations.

This garden location is very strategic, it located beside artificial lake. Initially, it did provide Kayak service. Due to ineffective administrative operation, plenty activities were closed. Food corner closed, building closed, ice-cream shop closed... everything is close except a luxury seafood restaurant well-maintain and survive on the lake-shore. It's under " Tai Tong 大同" group, I hope that I can come and have meals in this restaurant at night ONE DAY.

Above mocktail was prepared by my little cousin, Ee Han. It taste nice and the most important thing is: it's presentable!!! She is only 11 years old,k....

2009.05.06_Interesting Thought

Below story make me laugh till burst tear:

In a poor zoo of India , a lion was frustrated as he was offered not more than 1 kg of meat a day. The lion thought its prayers were answered. When one day a Dubai Zoo Manager visited the zoo and requested the zoo management to shift the lion to Dubai Zoo.
The lion was so happy and started thinking of a central A/C environment, a goat or two every day.
On its first day after arrival, t he lion was offered a big bag, sealed very nicely for breakfast. The lion opened it quickly but was shocked to see that it contained few bananas. The lion thought that may be they cared too much for him as they were worried about his stomach as he had recently shifted from India . The next day the same thing happened. On the third day again the same foodbag of bananas was delivered.
The lion was so furious; it stopped the delivery boy and blasted at him
,'don't you know I am the lion...king of the Jungle..., what's wrong with your management? What nonsense is this? Why are you delivering bananas to me?
The delivery boy politely said, 'Sir, I know you are the king of the jungle ... but... you have been brought here on
a monkey's visa !!!

I assumed this story written by Indian author. Foreign's moon may not necessary bigger or rounder that local moon. In real, we only have ONE moon. Pls stop complaining and learn to embrace your beautiful life. (self-grumbling...)
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
16Rejoice always; 17pray without ceasing; 18in everything give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus.

Btw, Will you wear this shoes? Really speechless on this shoes' design.

2009.05.10_Parents' Day Celebration

In a lovely PJEFC Sunday service, Sunday school students present a simple but meaningful song collaboration with the parents. The participants were from several months years old babies till 50 ++ years old parents. Salute to Sunday school teacher and coordinators, it must very tough to arrange all these performers.
In another lovely Sunday service, we been requested the post our best photogenic look for church picture's profile. Can you see the cameraman climb up and stand on the ladder to best capture. I don't think I can find my face on his photo later.
