In the Midst of Commitments

In correspond to mate's post, commitments is a norm for everyone. Even I'm learning to make use of my life prescribed by God:
* Love
* Joy
* Peace
* Longsuffering
* Kindness
* Goodness
* Faithfulness
* Gentleness
* Self-control
it's much more complex and hard to achieve.
By our limited strengths, I have to tell you: sorry mate, this is "Mission Impossible". Perhaps, our parents can act as biggest backbone in our young days; tardily, these giants lost their "encyclopedia functions" atrophic into dwarf. We cant rely on them anymore, their plenty outdated living practices are contrast with OUR new generation life's philosophy. I ever commented my parents that I didn't blame them cause they are low-educated and we are living in different dimensions during arguments. Instantaneously,my dad look at me, retorted in cursing me. BTW, he is an expect in all these dirty words.
Perhaps (again), our life partner or spouse or BFF or intimate buddy or someone you believe trustworthily can become our fortress. But, we tend to be closehanded, endless demanding but seldom grudge unless we are extremely free and available. You may said I'm prejudice and passive on human relationship. In certain way, I AM cause I AM celibatarian ;p Tolerance is the best lubricant for two homo sapiens from different growth background. The issues is how long can you be tolerance for? I believe even volcano will burst one day, so do you.
Perhaps (again), we can rely on our family members. For me, Chinese "breeding concept" is selfish, parents deliver the children in order these children will take care of the parents when they were old.养儿防老. In contrast, I prefer our Malays culture: baby is a gift from god ( anugerah tuhan). No matter how close in our sisterhood or brotherhood but we have our own way. We will apart when we growing up and more focus on personal life. That's why elder care centres "tumbuh macam cendawan selepas hujan" ( this is Malay idiom means growth drastically; direct translate sounds: sprouting and growing as mushroom after rain). Any botanist can clarify this phenomena?
Before converted into Christianity, I believe we are one and only to trust and to rely on ourselves. However; there are something problems is unsolvable by our limited strengths on particular occasion. Outwardly, we might encourage ourselves keep move on and conquer the issue; inwardly, we will blame someone or something or some place or...
For me, the beauty of Christianity is that as a Christian: we know whereabouts we put faith in , we are not living for our own life sake, we are not belong to us.
"easy talk, do hard", I'm not preaching here but I damn worry at this moment for my new living place, new jobs, new working zone, seeking new worship place, joining a NGO club which is need tonnes of commitments (Don't misunderstanding, I do it wholeheartedly) and deep thought about start new relationship.
Let us be happy as always in the midst of commitments.
