2012.02.25_Power Station_Concert 动力火车

On a lonely Saturday evening, a friend offer a concert ticket on FB; a boring me dropped a comment: u belanja kah? Mr F replied: Yes, see you at Sunway, 8PM. I couldn't believe how lucky am I ;p Had a rush shower without delay, I was super lucky on that nite coz no need find parking space. An ideal empty parking lot just appear at the right place on the right time. Well, McD always is the best place to hang around even we do not order any meal. Since I come 60 minutes earlier, self snap-shoot for time-killing. Well, my frens said my self-photos skills is super advance now, I may consider to be part-time photographer haha

For those are age 30++, you should very familiar with this Taiwan band formed by 2 Taiwan aboriginal men. They are rock!!! From opening till the end, the singing quality was same as listening CD. It's so unbelievable compare with recent young idol singer who cant sing live at all. Not too surprise, most of the concertgoers are men ==> uncle 2...hahaha... The whole concert is like an open air karaoke room, most of us sing together with the band even you cant remember the lyrics. The event organiser has prepared two big screen and show the lyrics.... I knew all the songs ( this means I had have revealed my actual age). Luckily, I have brought a big bottle of water so that I can maintain my reputation on this karaoke marathon session ;p

The side effect the day after this concert is my voice become so smokey...

2012.02.06_Thaipusam

No matter u like it or not, we live in multi-races, different religions and diversified culture community, I love to visit and celebrate various festival in Malaysia. For me, it's a good way to learn and understanding our neighbor's living culture and yet we tend to more respect each others when we found out how interesting it is. Every year, Batu Caves will be a super-duber jam area during Thaipusam festival. The main reason is simple: Tamil community organise such carnival in celebrating birth of God of Murugan.

A devoted baby shaved her hair during Thaipusam. FYI, the shaving/ cutting hair cost was not FOC. Baby gal is very cool n quite to allow barber to perform his task.

A devotee equip himself with all the hook that attached with small milk container closed by yellow cloths. Indeed, one of my colleague also stick a hard metal on his tongue, very impressive!

2012.01.28_DongChanShi_Temple

This is my second visit to Dong Chan Shi Temple, I enjoy it very much. Free entrance & free parking too. Just a minor complaints bout the foods n drinks price, it was super duber pricey. Can imagine the organiser needs fund to support it routine expenses, but the price is far too high. I will bring my own food ( bread) next year, hahaha. Compare with last year decor, this year budget is pretty tight and most of the decor are recycle used. Since it is FOC, nothing much can be mumble about.

My fren said I'm just a lonely uncle who is desperate for relationship, posing with orchid is damn 70s era look. We are pretty enjoy this flower shooting session, many passer-by staring at us and imitate me too. The result is not too bad, rite?

My self-snapshoot skills are keep improving till my frens amaze with the pics. One of my gang ever comment me as " camwhore" .. what a nasty compliment! Luckily, I didn't use any smartphone, if not, tonnes of photos will be taken day by day. Well, I'm single, nobody take pics for me, must self-help , ok!!!
